A Lady, Two Wheels
and a Mountain of Determination
Justyna (one of our Pre-school parents), embarked on quite an adventure to support Streatley Hill Pre-school this Autumn.
In an effort to keep sane during Lockdown 2020, she and her neighbour Dave, struck up an amateur cycling friendship. But sanity quickly turned into insanity, when they decided to tackle cycling the Ridgeway together!
On 31st October and 1st November 2020 they covered a distance of 87 miles, making it through a hale storm, managing despite flat tyres… to mention just a few challenges, and ending up with broken bikes.
But what a success, accomplishment and achievement! They raised a whopping £923.75 (including gift aid).

Why Is Fundraising So Important for Our Pre-School?
Fundraising initiatives enable the Pre-school to purchase and maintain essential materials and equipment. Please support events and initiatives where you can, as every penny raised really does count.
We use funds gathered from a wide variety of events throughout the year to:
1. Improve and enhance our outdoor learning environment
2. Enhance the indoor learning environment
3. Provide training opportunities for our staff
4. Ensure we have child-friendly structures to allow children to access learning resources themselves
