Parent Feedback
The feedback shared below is our annual surveys.
"Chloe loves coming to the pre-school. I have seen her confidence grow over the past year, she is much happier to leave her immediate family and has made some lovely friendships" - Chloe's Parents
"Both Kitty and I were supported during our initial settling in period. I feel very comfortable leaving her in the care of the pre-school staff. Kitty's development is clear to see, both socially and educationally, from better interactions with her peers to ABC's and counting. I love the whiteboard updates at the end of the day" - Kitty's Mum.
"William has been very happy at the pre-school, my only concern was that William was the eldest and him getting bored. I would have liked to have seen a more divide between the 4 yrs old and the 2yrs old. However, he loves the people at pre-school and speaks highly of everyone" - William's Mum.
"Fantastic settling in visit where lots of questions were asked etc. Lola has settled in so well and I'm sure it is becuase Chrissy has always been there in the morning to welcome us in and be there for Lola - talking to her etc. I couldn't have asked/hoped for more - it's been brilliant, thank you" - Lola's Mum.
"There has been a lot of changes at the pre-school but all have been positive and both my children really enjoy it. The layout is a big improvement and Cheryl has done a great job since taking over as the leader. Alfie adores her. We feel the mix of free play and the more structured sessions are the perfect mix. The staff are always positive and friendly and the new layout works well given the space" - Finlay and Alfie's Parents.
"The last year has been great. Matilda started in January 2018 and very quickly settled into her new setting. She has made strong bonds with lots of the staff, not just her key worker (Cheryl). I like the soft start - helps Matilda to ease into the activity and separate from me with no tears. Good range of activities indoor and out. Great communication with parents - like the children's activity folder is updated regularly. I like the whiteboard outside at the end of the session with information of the days activities." - Elizabeth Brown.
"Streatley pre-school is the friendly home from home environment that I want for my children. Always a warm and friendly greeting, which means a lot to India and an amazingly varied and fun range of activities. The friendly + enthusiastic + caring staff and a very tidy setting makes for a calmer environment for the children. Good amount of activities and toy rotation." - Freya Barton.
"The last year has been brilliant for Henry and James. They have made friends, built their confidence, explored areas they haven't done at home before. All the staff have looked after their needs, they go in happy and come out happy. The staff take time understanding their characters, behaviour etc. Letting them play anything they choose. Cooking with children has got better, amazing what they can do. They have a vast range of plays, equipment and activities." Henry and James's Parents.
"Kyle has had an amazing year. He loves the teachers and setting. He has come along in leaps and bounds and truly has a joyful experience at the pre-school. We like the use of the facility, the new opportunities such as football, woodland walks, cooking and gardening." - Kyle's Parents.
"Anwen has really enjoyed starting her pre-school and seems to have settled in very quickly. She is always very excited to be going to school with its welcoming environment. The school makes good use of it's facilities and local area." - Anwen's Parent.
"Alice has settled into the pre-school so well. She loves spending time with her friends and it has given her the independence she craved. I like the structure provided to her at school. I think Alice benefits from knowing what is happening in the day and she is comfortable with a sense of routine." - Alice's Parent.
"The pre-school is excellent. Perdie settled in so quickly and has enjoyed it ever since. It's great to see her making friends and interacting with other children. I love the different activities they do. Woodland stuff!! football, cooking etc. Perdie is stimulated and always comes home tired after an action packed day. I've noticed that her alphabet and numerical skills are improving too." - Perdie's Parent.
